Our 67th cremone is inspired by the fine detailing of hardware from the American Renaissance (1876-1917), when historic European detailing was adapted for new American designs in the classical tradition. The delicately profiled taper of the cremone box and keepers provides a gracious degree of ornament that delights the eye. The 67th lever handle – which rests in the vertical position - is tapered down its length – perfectly attuned to the tapers of the cremone itself – with a curved underside for comfortable use. This timeless design celebrates the classical tradition anew.
